'Khatta Meetha' ya 'Khatai Me Tha' - Akshay Tuzya naanachi Tang.

12:42 AM Posted by iSachin 2 comments
I was very excited to watch the movie obliviously the name of the hero was Sachin and it had little a Marathi theme but as expected from Akki, He has delivered another flop it looks like a he hasn't learned anything from the 'Chandani Chawk to China' and made 'Chandani Chawk to Satara'.

I was never been Akki's fan but by seeing the promo's and songs I got little excited. As the music of the movie is good, one more gem from Pritam. I hope this is his original score as there is no country left in south-east asia from where he hasn’t stolen the music.

As I stated earlier I never been a fan of akki. His films even though they were superhits, I never saw then in Theaters or I can put as I never had courage to sit for 3 hours watching akshay. Last movie was Chandani Chawk to China which was sponsored by my previous company for Team building excercise, which it achieved because all of us had one view and that was 'Worst movie seen in long time'.

I always wondered how come akki got away with these many movies, one after another. May be his movie had very good music which gave wrong impression or all the audience went there to see Katrina(which was a very good decision). One can draw that conclusion from the fact that he hasn't had a decent hit since Katrina stopped working with him.

Now come to latest movie 'Khatta Meetha' I think it should renamed as 'Khatai me Tha'. It was going to be a flop as his previous movies but I made courageous decision to watch it and there I made mistake. It had nothing about Marathi or story of a Marathi person except few names. His father was more panjabi than a Marathi. All the laugher scenes which we all saw in promos were only scenes apart from that there was nothing to see. 3 out of 4 songs where had a 'Gali' (Naanachi Tang, Aayala re aayala haathichya mayala and Bullshit) in it. He even couldn't find proper words for this songs. Only song without Gali was shot in a temple otherwise he would not had spared that too.

He hasn't learned anything about making good movies from his previous flop and keep on making this rubbish. Then he cries about not getting any awards. Only scenario when he would get an award is if there are awards for rubbish films (Which are made in very large number in India). I think one should was news channels, which had more laughter than this movie.
Not seeing his movies in theatre, I made correct decisions by not seeing his movies and I shall try to learn from my 'Khatta Meetha' mistake.

At the end I only want to say that. 'Akshay Kumar - Tuzya Naanachi Tang'.

Devotional Journey - Pandharichi Wari

5:15 AM Posted by iSachin 13 comments
Yesterday I had fast it was regarding 'Ashadi Ekadashi', my mom says I was born on this day. This day comes every year, I never missed the opportunity for 'Ashadi Ekadashi' obliviously for (Sabudhana khichadi). Many of you must have done that precisely for that reason only.

Main religious event in this time of period would be 'Pandharpurchi Wari' a walking pilgrimage, of Maharashtra which everyone is talking. As a young maharashtriyan I was always fascinated by the devotion of these people in the village for God Pandhari. This pilgrimage was attended by the lakhs of people from every corner of the Maharashtra.

Do we really care about this? What is this impacted to the culture of Maharashtra? Why it is so much important to these people. I have seen for last few years, everyone talks about the Wari. When it would enter the city? which roads would be blocked? etc.etc.. Those how are here for 1-2 years and don’t know much about the tradition. It looks like talking about 'Wari' has become a fashionable.

Lets gets some facts about this..

The month of Ashadh is the time for the famous Wari. On the eleventh day after the new moon of Ashadh palanquins bearing the mementoes of various saint poets of Maharashtra reach Pandharpur. Several thousand people accompany these palanquins on foot to Pandharpur.

There are no discriminations amongst the Warkari on the basis of caste, creed, gender or class. The young people also participate in the Wari. The history tells us that the first Wari went to Pandharpur from Alandi in 1291. Devotees of lord Vitthal from Maharashtra and other States regularly participate in the annual Wari. Thousands of Warkaris walk to Pandharpur chanting the name of Vitthal, singing Bhajans, listening to Pravachan and Kirtan. Several foreign tourists come to watch the Wari of Vitthal and experience the unique tradition.

Obliviously I didn't write this as I copied it from somewhere(not all of it).

I have once seen this wari as one group came to my Village in Nagar. Everyone was enthu about it and wanted to take warkaris to there home for meal. I find it very fascinating as here in cities we don’t know the immediate neighbor is doing. Asking a stranger to come home for meal is a distant dream. But they do and somehow become a part of the Wari. This shows that to love your god you don’t need to donate kilos of gold and money, but helping others one can achieve that.

You would be saying what’s there in this wari for us because not everywhere this happens. Maharashtra always had this incredible history of great saints from all caste. They gave the message of peace and harmony at that time, Non-discrimination to others, Loving the environment, loving the someone (God) so much that ready to walks hundred's of miles. I think these are the same message we need in our lives today which were give to us to our forefathers hundreds of years back.

Lets not only talk about it for relation to the traffic jams but know the real meaning of it which was known to our forefathers and helping somehow to these pilgrimers.

In this age of development we are forgetting our root as a maharashtriyan. From this blog I wanted to spread the message of the real meaning of the wari, its importance to those people and what is the actual message it wants to spread.

Love your God and your environment.

I hate 'India-Pak Peace Talk' Stories

4:22 AM Posted by iSachin 3 comments
As you all know once again the peace talk between the India and Pakistan broke down and Mr. Kureshi blamed all that to the our Foreign minister Mr. S. M. Krisha. Reason for that were he wasn't ready and not flexible and only wanted to talk about the 26/11. I don’t know if Indian side knew the response they would get from the Pakistan, why did they go to there in first place?

You must be thinking about me as a 'war monger' or against the peace but for your kind information i am not or I was not but I thinking I am becoming.
Let put this issue in perspective why are we talking to the Pakistan because "it is only way forward". There are problems with our immediate neighbour and neighbour solves the problem by talking.

If we see from the Pakistan perspective they have some genioun and serious concerns, issue like Water, K word (Kashmir) , T Word (Terrorism) , 'S' (Siachen) or A-Z words.
For Kashmir they think that it is there 'Janmasidhdh' right, On water front they were fairing very badly as there population increase they are getting far less water compare to their Baap Daada's (very rude language). Terrorism front they are having attack every day. They want to discuss these issues which affect common man.

Now see indias concerns Maoist problem they are becoming biggest headache for India as a nation, our prime minister has stated this for last 4-5 years on every forum concerned to it. China border issue which is not settled for very long time and will not be solved unless we ready to give Arunachal Pradesh. Mamata Banergee who is fighting Communist party with Congress in West Bengal and internally fighting to Congress. I added mamata in fun way but there is some common ground on the problems which i state i.e. Communism ..ha ha ha..
Problem stated about just a start, there is P Word (Poverty), C Word (Corruption), R Word (Regionalism) think we need to use Chinese characters which I heard they are 5000 to count India's problems.

In spite of this we started to talk and what happened nothing happened. I think no thing is going to happen as we are having so many problems Not talking to Pakistan is not going to harm us than it will harm Pakistan.

Lets assume a scenario that Pakistan it only problem we have that means it is our 100% headache. Consider other scenario say Pakistan is one of the problem and there are many of such problems so lets say it is 10% of our problems in that case we should concentrate on solving other 90% solvable problems rather than talking to Pakistan (because they are not going to listen).

This has become a media event, if they really want to talk they can talk through back channel which they had in previous years, instead in a media glare.
I genuinely feel that not talking to Pakistan will solve more problems than otherwise. Every time two countries meet, there is big event and huge expectations but we always get disappointed so let’s stop talking to them for few year ..say 100 years. It then they would fight between them and divide their own country in that case it would be far easier to handle.

Jokes apart these 'Peace Talks' always disappointed every once and shall continue to do so. Hence I hate 'India-Pak Peace Talk' Stories as there is not going to be peace in our countries and we need to accept this fact and live with it....

The Great Indian Civilization.

5:40 AM Posted by iSachin 2 comments
We as Indians are very proud people even though we don’t have much to be proud of. We at last come to our 5000 years old civilization. I was wondering what this is exact meaning of it. So I goggled, copied and pasted, It was written as 'Civilization (or Civilization) is a term used to describe a certain kind of development of a human society'.

That means we have been civilizing for last 5000 years and not yet civilized. Look at daily news, you won’t find a single day without news of 'Honor Killing'. Is it really a act of civilized people I don’t think so.

In our civilization women had a very important place and look now I don’t see the same behavior nowadays, We had culture of respecting elders and what about the old age homes, I cannot relate to it.

Look at how in tolerate we have come towards the religion. We always lived in harmony for many centuries and incidents like Ayodhya, Godhra and Sangli Riots don’t point towards the civilized society.

I think we have lost that great civilization and following something else. This is not the civilization who build great cities like Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa 3-4 thousand years back that was the great civilization and look at the state of the current cities civic amenities overall behavior of the public, one cannot fathom how disciplined were those people with 'supposed to be less knowledge'.

so what we have now is not the same civilization we once were.

Mission Impossible – India in Football World Cup

11:37 PM Posted by iSachin 3 comments
Yesterday we saw Spain winning the world cup. This was the first occasion that they had reached to the finals of the world cup. They are also current EURO Champions. I don’t know how it can be called World Cup if India and China not participating i.e. 40% of all world population. I was wondering when would India qualify for the world cup and I thought of few scenarios where India would QUALIFY.

1) Hosting a world cup - This is the easiest and most costliest route. The route which South Africa chose. They have paid the price for that apart from few stadiums and trains there is nothing to show on the performance front. We can do that, anyways we have wasted so much money for Commonwealth games which only few countries where British ruled participate. We beat these helpless teams and pat our backs. Instead we can divert this wastage for football. This is unlikely scenario as we are at early 120's ranking. We at least need to go to mid 80's.

2) Create Separate group for South Asia - This can be done as there or 7-8 countries here and can hope to win regional tournament. This is also going very difficult as Sri Lankans and Bangladesh have good teams and can make us run for our money. Now Afghanistan have qualified for 20-20 Cricket World Cup and soon they will qualify for Football World Cup as they have better physical strength than us and they don’t know much about Cricket.

3) Create group of 5 Most populous countries - This is also easy we will be top this category for very long and will keep topping for most of the future.

4) Teams representing NRI, PIO - As there are near about 3 Crore Indians outside and each countries have them except obliviously Pakistan. But they don’t need Indians as they have enough of themselves.. ha ha ha..
But I am not sure if actual Indian's from India would qualify so we can make them permanent member of the group like UN. Even though we haven’t got a permanent seat over there.

5) Global Worming - This can help us. You might be thinking how this is possible but think as level of sea rises it would submerge many small nations and hence reduce the number of countries to compete. Some footballer would come to India as we can any time accommodate them as we all as no problem with population. This will be very cruel way to qualify but this is likely scenario till 2050 and way for qualification for India.

As Darwin has said 'Survival of the fittest' not qualifying for this big event is good. Instead of getting beaten by these world class teams, we can enjoy this beautiful game without being getting disappointed like Cricket. See we cannot do a single thing without cricket, in that to we have failed in recent past.

There could be many more scenario's I would be happy if you mention those. Let’s hope India qualifies for this tournament with right route. I am not sure it could happen in my lifetime but in our future generations this is possibility.

Belgaon or Bell Gaon (धोक्याची घंटा)

2:52 AM Posted by iSachin 2 comments
I was reading news 'Centre snubs Maharashtra over border dispute', as far as know this is the lost battle.

Let me give u brief history about Belgaon and other 4 districts claimed by Maharashtra.
The Belgaum and 4 other districts border dispute is a dispute involving the Indian states of Maharashtra and Karnataka. Belgaum, currently a part of Karnataka and earlier the erstwhile Bombay Presidency, is claimed by Maharashtra on linguistic grounds.

We all know that states were formed on the basis of language and it that was the parameters then those 5 districts should have been with Maharashtra and not the current situation. As these people speak Marathi as their primary language they have the right to give education to their children in their mother tongue and not kannada.

Congress and BJP are just playing with the sentiments and not resolving the issue. Even though both parties claimed to be with the maharashtriyans they have very good record in disappointing us.

We all ignore this issue for very long and need to speak about it. I think centre should know what we can do and should teach them a lesson so...

I think it is a high time that we all speak in one language and register our protests or be ready for more betrayals by center.

Bharat Bandh or not to Bandh....

1:37 AM Posted by iSachin 5 comments
Today is the day of Bharat Bandh. It is due to price hike in Petroleum products or on overall price rise in essential products. This has caused great hardships to everyone specially common man.

This could have been avoided by managing the resources or may be reducing 10% corruption. Ha ha ha ......

But we cannot that because no one wants to address the real problem and the real reason is Corruption. Now you would think that how that can be because, we think that nothing would happen without bribing someone. I don’t no how much money we waste in corruption but it has to be very large otherwise India would have been in the top 3 countries as we were for majority of 5000 years.

I think I am diverted from our original topic but main cause of the price rise is the corruption at every level. unless and until we address this issue, this is just the start......
