Ayodhya Verdict - What young Indian Thinks?

1:32 AM Posted by iSachin 7 comments
Today supposed to be the historical day as every one was awaiting for the Babri Masjid case verdict but High court judges differed it for out of court compromise. There reason to postponing was to give the another chance for negotiations and wanted to be not seen on wrong side of the history.

Every one was keenly awaiting for the verdict and wanted that chapter to be closed forever. This really going to be the key turning point in the history of modern India as whole world is watching us. Irrespective of the kind of case it would be the true test of our Democracy and society. This verdict is awaited by everyone, nobody knows how it is going to be received by the people of India. I hope its is received well and everyone is abide by it.

We have seen the recursions of the Babri Masjid Demolition. It was not wanted by the majority of the people in India. If u ask me it is the darkest day of our lives, because it not war which has weaken us but this internal divide has. It was happened 20 years back and India has moved on since then. If we want to be more progressive society then we have to accept the verdict of Court because rule of land is supreme in a democracy.

Nobody know what exactly happened to start this big battle. As i have seen on the news channel it was the simple battle between 2 friends in the Ayodhya where they filed a case to get the property right for the masjid area and rest is history. As usual politicians got involved in it and used it as vote bank politics. I am intentionally not taking any name of the political party as it was done by all the parties and no one is exception. I really don't know what the real fuss about this Mosque and not all other. It is know to every one in India that when Mughal's came they destroyed the temples and built there Mosques. It was done all over world so its not that they only did it. There were kings like Akbar who admired all the religions and It is there in many places in the north india.

For many it is the issue of 'Ram Janmabhumi' hence issue of pride or emotion but as far as I know there is no real proof of it. Yes, there could be a mandir there in the past but it does not prove that it is where Ram was born. As far as I know it is a Epic where Ram's life is used as a reference where every one is supposed to live like him. What good things he done and what mistakes he has made is kind of lesson for us. There is one very interested dimension to it.

It is supposed to be a very old story where there was a king in north India. He was Ram's worshiper hence for his love to the god he renamed his capital to Ayodhya. By this way Epic of Ramayana came to life and rest is what we are seeing today. Yes, Ramayana is a Epic, at least this is what i have learned in the school.

I many be wrong but point is not that i am right or wrong. I want remind you that this are very old mythologies and in today's world we see facts. Neither Hindus not Muslims should get emotional by this event. As these politicians are going to exploit this. If we are proud of our democracy then we have to have the faith in one of the pillars of the Democracy i.e. Judiciary. We must respect its verdict and protect the harmony of the society.

I would myself like to have a all faith temple or a building where every person in India whether he is Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist or Christan would come and pray. Because any way it is going to be place for worship and not the place where actual gods going to live. It is at so many places where temple and mosque are side by side, in my home town only we have temple and masjid side by side only a narrow road divides them. I think that would be the more acceptable solution to have both places of worships.

As a modern day indian citizen I want this issue to be sorted out any how because I or we as whole should not deviate from out true goal i.e. making India superpower. If we keep on fighting on this issue then we wont able to handle the many other imporant issue like corruption, poverty, education etc. I don't know what u think but i would like to know your view on this. On more happier note I hope that 28th September decision is going to be a History changing in positive way.

Autonomy for Kashmir - Feeling of freedom

11:06 PM Posted by iSachin 2 comments
I wanted to start this post with the poem in the Kashmiri about the heaven on earth but i refrained from it. Because our leader has made more mess than it was earlier. Since last 3 months there have been massive protests in the Kashmir valley. Hundreds of people have died in these protest still there is no sign of stopping. Not even holy month of Ramzan could deter there protesters.

I don't know what the government of Omar Abdulla doing when so many our won people are getting killed. If we give him the benefit of doubt because he is young and new to this difficult job. What was the government at the center doing? Can’t anybody see that innocent people are getting killed? My strong feeling is that governments at both the places are not in control or they don't know how to handle this situation, they are simply been incompetent. Now I can recall that most people time of Kashmir was ironically in the government of Vajpayee led BJP government.

Kashmir is burning since i heard about it, i don't know what these leaders are doing for so many years that people are Kashmir cannot fill safe with India. We see elections there and we think that everything is ok. There is no need to worry about but every now and then these protests start and innocent Kashmiri boys gets killed. This has to stop somewhere. We as Indians has to listen the legitimate grievances of the Kashmiris and address them. We are not Pakistan for god sake we have a democracy, if we cannot solve these problem by dialog then only god will save us. There are problem in the other parts of the India these are also the fallout of the bad governance.

I have been hearing this that if anything would happen it would happen in the framework of the Constitution but everybody know that our constitution is a very flexible document. Constitution has been changed so many times in the past that it can been once again looked at because Kashmir is a unique case and it has been agreed by our leader in the past for autonomy.

Vajpeyeeji always had the vision for Kashmir, it was unfortunate that its government got collapsed and whole thing went into the back burner. I always thought that Manmohan Singh is visionary, he may be but handling the difficult situation he seems to be lacking the instinct.

Nobody want to pick up arms, these Kashmiri boys also have equal right to freedom. We must listen to them. Ignoring them would only increase the problem. History has taught us that no conflict can solve the problem but dialog will. So we need to continuously engage them and act on the promises. If we can talk with our biggest enemy Pakistan then we should not have any problem talking with our own people.

There could be other interpretations for 'Azadi' as they say. Unless and until we sit across the table and negotiate nothing would happen. Two days back a delegation from the Parliamentarians when to the separatists leaders, this is good beginning. Announcing big packages wont solve the problem until and unless they feel free in there own right. This process should not discontinue, as always been the case. Don't let another hundreds of Kashmiri die, its our responsibility to reconcile them.

Autonomy would not be a bad thing. They won’t be separate from the India. They would be part of India but with some independence. Many parts in the world are autonomous like in Russia and China. Let’s have our own example, let them handle it, see how things work. I don’t think that day would be far when whole world will once again say that if there is heaven on earth it is in Kashmir, in Kashmir and only in Kashmir which is peaceful part of India.

Hindu mythology - Relation between Kalyug and Corruption

9:01 AM Posted by iSachin 3 comments
I have always heard about it, sometimes experienced it, but this something else. We all have heard about amount of corruption in the country but we are least bothered about it because it won’t affect us. Our thinking is poor in the villages are affected by it, we in the cities are not but if you look closely it has been impacted us a lot but we are so used to it that we don't fill it. It has become like a love of our mother which we never care cause we are used to it.

Every one from there childhood learn right things and wrong things. We also learn about our culture. Mythologies like Yuga's and Dharmas but we tend to ignore it. I always wonder that being immoral is not a good thing but then why there is so much wrong in thing world. Leave world, just talk of India.

If you look closely corruption and Hinduism look tightly linked. Now you would agree that how come Hinduism is connected to corruption. Every country has it but they also have corruption. I have to say yes for that but the scale at which corruption happens here is unheard of.

As whole world know we are very religious and traditional people. We should be god fearing, Corruption is sin but we ignore cause 'Kalyug hai bhai?'. It is in our mythologies that these kind of things are bound to happen.

We all talk about Kalyug but do we really know it. Let me give some gyaan about it :-).

When Lord Krishna died, the Kalyug began. It started out mild and grew from there. This happened in 3102 BCE and lasted for exactly 432 000 years and ends.

The first Yuga is the Satya and is a temporal period during which purity and truth are dominant virtues. During the Satyuga people are god-like and exist perfectly and without vice. Knowledge of God is intrinsic to the people during this period. It is the golden age of Hindu tradition. Each successive Yuga hence renders a 25% decrease in humans' dharma (smirtis: moral order). Humanity's capacity and desire for that which is good and right diminishes. The second Yuga is Treta (the silver age). The third is Dvapara (bronze). The last is the Kali Yuga.

The Kalyug is the last of the four Hindu Yugas. It is most often referred to as the Dark Age or Iron Age and is one of four Yugas which form what is known as a Yogic cycle.

No wonder our country is so poor even after having greatest skilled workforce, largest resources and most fertile land on earth. What happens with the money we pay to the government. It don't reach to the poor not to us. It directly goes these corrupt people which is main impact of Kalyug. Ha ha ha.......

There are many thing in our mythologies which are wrong but we follow it like
See i told you we are supposed to be corrupt in this age, some people taking this way seriously and following the Kalyug Dharma. We are following that by ignoring it. May be our ancestors were correct and we deserve this.

In modern times people don't follow the tradition but we believe in Dharma and we are follow it religiously but is that this has to be Kalyug and not any other Yug. I don't think that we can change the Kalyug which is the time period but surely we can change the behavior we think and work.

I got idea for this from my previous Blog. I thought it would be my 'Dharma' write something about it and divert our attention toward the brazen ignorance of wrongs in our society and country as whole.

On more positive note lets try to end thing kalyug if ending is not possible, try to reduce it (some people surely heard this some where...ha ha ha.).

10 Things movies taught me

1:49 AM Posted by iSachin 2 comments

It’s been very interesting topic, I have been thinking about this for very long. Even before I started to write the blog. Sometimes it happens that we have to take some decisions but we do not have any one to fall back. We take and consequently come out to be right, then we say ohh it was just luck but we don't see how we manage to take that decision..

Its very interesting we always say that we learn from the experiences but do we really?. I don't think so, we don't do much thing apart from the work (obliviously), some people even don't do that..even though they go for work...ha ha ha ha....

Some how it happened that I discussed about the movies with my colleagues. I don't watch HindI movies unless and until it is been a mega hit. One mistake was 'Khatta mitha' but for that I had to write a complete blog. Let it be I see mostly the Hollywood movies they always has a subject and they stick to it. while watching the movie you become the part of it or could feel the essence of it.

Movies are like field guide, we say that just go for the movies for fun but in-turn we always learn something new from it. Be it be friendship, respect, adventure or Fantasies. I enjoyed movies just for fun or time pass but over the years they taught me a lot. I think everyone has but they don't realize it.

Lets start from my favorite movies.

Leave the Past Behind (Time Machine) - Not many have seen this movies but this movie has very important situation in the heroes life. His girl friend dies of unfortunate incident and he tries to go back to past and change it but for his amusement he couldn't. Message he gets is whatever in the past u couldn't change it so move on to the future. In this movie it was moving l

Finding the right talent (School of Rock) - This movies was about a guy who is a lead guitarist in his own band. He gets thrown out his band. Then he somehow got into the school as a teach for 11-12 years old children. Beauty of this movies was how he found out the true talent of the children, give them the courage to do well.

Friends are for all season (DCH) - I think this movie has taught my generation the true meaning of a friend and what we should not do to break a friendship. Sometimes we do silly mistakes to break a friendship but in bad times only friend comes for help and no one else.

Great struggles (Pursuit of happiness) - Never seen a heart wrecking movie. A struggling salesman takes custody of his son as he's poised to begin a life-changing professional endeavor. It is the story of a father who goes for lot of pain for a moment of happiness and when he reach there he finds that all the pain was well worth it.

Believe in God (Evan Almighty) - Apart from the all the hilarious situation it has, it gave a very simple message. It emphasizes on the importance of the god in our lives and how humble we should be. The message was 'Its not we who achieves something but we should be thankful to the god who gave us the opportunity to do so'. Even though I am not a very traditional guy but this message we always should remember in our lives.

GandhigirI in modern times (Lage raho Munnabhai) - Story of the modern day Gandhian who tries to follow the true principal of Gandhi. This movies told us how relevant can be the principles of the GandhI in this modern age. I think it was a very good reminder for all of us that what difference we can make in this society if we follow simple principals of Gandhi.

Family comes first (KabhI KhushI KabhI Gam) - I don’t like these typical Bollywood movies and all that rona dhona. but the real message I got from the movies that 'Even though how much father loves his children he dont express it' very important message in our age or in our society where there are incidences of old age home, beating. Don’t want to talk about it but…

Struggle for Existence (Avatar) - Movie based on the struggle of indigenous people where they fight for their own land. Brutality of humans on the others land captured very well, in India we hear this every day this struggle for land which has given birth to the nuxalism. May be we learn from it and start doing the right thing without disturbing the original people of the land.

Complex World (Matrix) - I had to see this movie trice to fully understand. Movie was related the complexity of the world and how humans are woven into the daily life that he fails to understand the actually reality which is quiet different that he thinks. Loosely based on the Hindu mythological concept of Maya, excellent take on the complex issues of once thinking.

Great powers comes with great responsibilities (Spiderman) - Apart from the great special effects this movie gave the very important message that when one gets the power he or she has some responsibilities as well so taking care of both is the right approach.

This is my take on the movies, I learned a lot that’s for sure. You tell me your experiences where you behave in certain ways and later on you thought that how did u do that? may be some where u have seen that..
