Monsoon - Dance of the rain..

Record breaking rains has been the feature of these monsoons but does it man made disaster or is mother nature showing the true place of humans. This monsoon has been worse in some places especially pakistan.

First specially here in Pune we had 1 month drought then when local government was about to declare it as drought affected area it started raining and didn't stop for full 1 month. It is still raining in the north of india and it is in grave danger of being flooded like in Pakistan.



I am amazed by the rains, how immaculately all the ingredients of the nature come together and do the magic called monsoon. over the years everything is going so well planned that not greatest of the managers can do that.

We as Indians are so blased by this gift that we in cities specially never care about it. We only concerned about the percentages of water in the dams and nothing else. It is time when the earth after burning for months gets the time to rest re-energized and ready for quenching the thirst of its true son the farmer.

I once was in my farm with my grandfather. It was very cloudy, there was a big dark cloud hovering over our head. As per my experience which i got by living in most rained place like thane I said it should start rain in few minutes. But he said something which i wasn't expecting, his sentences were '(Wind is too strong to rain)'. I thought age has caught him but to my amusement it didn't and in few minutes all the cloud were gone and we had clear sky.

By above incidence i want to tell the strong bonding and knowledge of the people in the villages have with nature which we could not have. We are concerned with the doing a 'All wet trip' and thats it. We never realize that monsoon is truly a gift from gods nearly 30 crores of them to us but we never cherish them.

My main concern is may be our future generation may not be able to experienc this thanks to the Climate change. We have to do something to make sure that this magic contiues for hundreds of years to come.

India - Divided we stand

We always talk about the tradition which dates back to thousands of years but have u ever heard anything called bharat or Hindustan. Never because there was no idea of single country, this notion of country came when European as they had this idea of people of same language contituets as country.

I never fathom the arguments like 'People are getting divided on the basis of language', obiviously they are because that is what we were for 5000 years of our civilization but we learnt to live with eachother peacefully and thats most imporant thing. There are differences every where but we need to live with those hence may be institution of marriage has survied here more than in western countries.

Now if u take this as basis we have states based on that pricipal. We have regions based on language but when whole europe is devided on the basis of language why we feel anti national when we talk about regionalism. you must be wondering why am i writing this immediately after independence day this is because regionalism is very basis of our nationality.

For thousands of year idea of 'India' never existed. Idea of India was for outsiders internally we were always divided and will be divided take Europe for that matter at least they all look alike. You may call it anti-nationalism but it is fact and if we deny the history then there is every chance of not making right decisions for the future.



I don't know where i heard this story about India, you might find it interesting..
There is a bird which is not supposed to fly but it is still flying and doing great. do you know why it is flying, because it dont know that it is not meant for it. same way you can consider india in its place and imagine. There are all the ingredients in this country to fail but still it hasn't and bonded even better. Ever since the beinging of the journey of country called India, everyone in the world was betting not on will india broke down? but on when? But we survived. Have u ever thought about it why this has happened because sometimes 2 people cannot make there marriage work how come crores of people could weathered the storm and survived and poised to be the next super power in the 21st century.

Being superpower is not new for us we were been the superpower till most of the human civilization. Once our economy was the 50% of world GDP which is now mere 1%. Europe has never been this rich untill they sucked up all the resources and valuable from the world and contries like india. They have utilized all that and now facing the problem.

I think was we are today is evolved over the years, India is just the idea for other people (specially europeans) who where just nomatide tribe few years ago. I think it is much more than that, it is a religion which is followed by every person in this peace of land. There are so many religions which without doubt fail every where but survied here because we indian know that respecting other religion is as important as respecting there own.

When asked this question 'who are you?' then obiviosly we give answer that i am marathi or i am kannadi. I think regionalism is the core basis of every individual's existance and if we want to move ahead in next century then we need to accept this fact. At least we havent had 2 world war on this even though we are much more diverse than europeans. They atleast have same characters even there languages have the origions from the sanskrit. Here in south we have languages which are far different that sansrit and evolved independently. Europeans look like same but if u take 4 corners of india they look totally different.

now lets talk about the dangers facing to india. what does comes to your mind? 'Pakistan', 'China' 'Climate Change' or 'Naxalism'. If u take my opinion there are nothing if u compare it to the 'Corruption'. I think it is only thing that is bothering to the common man if this is not handled properly by the government then i am afraid and sure that next kranti would be against these corrupt people. It has started in the tribal area's but soon spread if this issue is not handled by the government. Until and unless we get a strong leader that is not going to happen.

as usual i don't want to end this on sarcastic note so good sense prevail and we would bring back the status of our nation.

Games with Wealth of Common - CommonWealth Games

You must be knowing National game, Asian Games, Olympic games but you would be wondering what are these Commonwealth Games all about? What is this CommonWealth?. Some might think this as may be related to gambling as it has wealth word in it. In our case it is gamble where Indian common public has lost lot of wealth. this apart you should must know what is the actual meaning of this Commonwealth.

Here is the most un-commonly know fact that: The Commonwealth of Nations, normally referred to as the Commonwealth and previously as the British Commonwealth, is an intergovernmental organization of fifty-four independent member states. All but two of these countries were formerly part of the British Empire. That means bunch of countries where British ruled, robbed it and now trying to teach the values which they themselves never followed.



In few weeks time we will be hosting this commonwealth games, I really don’t know why it is important to us because these games are going to get remembered reasons other than the games. we need to be practical as we are not a sporting nation, our priorities are not sports but to feed crores of hungry people. I don’t when there are so many people some how managing on one meal a day, How can we afford these costly games?. Any we are not going to do well after so much mud-slinging and bad name to the games. I wonder if these games go incident free.

Yesterday I heard about the scale to which the corruption has happened and those figures are mind bobbling. Originally the games where costing near 1500 Cr but as per some expert’s estimates it has crossed 1 Lakhs Cr and still counting. By this you can imagine the scale of corruption. The amount which was proposed to cost the whole games will not required for only opening and closing ceremony, this is kind of miscalculation happened or deliberately done by the organizing authorities.

Shamelessness of these people can be gauged from the fact that even though they amazed extra money but also used the substandard materials. They didn't stopped there they produced the fake certificate too. My biggest fear is because of these substandard construction there shouldn’t be an accident which would defiantly would do more damage that the corruption has. One more important thing is they have not finished with the constructions and most of the stadiums are not ready for the games with too little time in our hands.



It is very important to note that we are not talking about incompletion of the stadium without which no games are possible. Shows the amount of corruption and mismanagment happened. These bunch of thugs are holding our nations pride to ransom and asking insane amount of money for these games. We not have any option but to make available the money for it to successful execution of the games. Any way these games or management of these games have brought the bad name to the country and I fear more that it would be last attempt for major games in our country.

There was man name 'Mani Shankar Ayyar' who was saying against the games all the while, I was thinking that he has gone insane and we can afford 10000 Cr. We are not that poor after all but now I can see what he was seeing all the while. I think these are the game we should had not opted for but just pride of a person 'Suresh Kalmadi' which happens to be from our city pune has caused this embarrassment and more to come.

I deliberately not talked about the corruption in general as that is just a part of this and a entire book can be written on it but I shall be writing about it in future blogs so lets look forward to it. But as you all know how positive thinker I am after writing so much negative, I see a positive side to it let’s explore that.

Now at least we won’t go for these expensive games. Shall learn the lesson from these mistakes and never opt for such misadventures. Try not to host Olympics game for next 50 years as we don’t have the capacity to host these large games as the security situation is also not good. Basically avoid games and watch it on television as we do most of the time. Try to invest the money where it is need the most and that is for development of poor.

On that positive note lets hope that these games gets over quickly and without any incidents. I don’t know what your opinion is but if you have something please comment.

What’s so special about Spanish so here are some interesting facts that you might not know.

Lets talk about the language, it is the second most natively spoken language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese. There is very special fact about the Spanish is that it spoken with a Lisp and for this there is very interesting story. Which I happened to know because of Russell peters video. That story is as follows

There was a king called King Ferdinand who had problem with the Lisp and hence in his honour people copied him and thus it evolved with a lisp. You may not find that in the Mexican Spanish as it got evolved seperately.

It's a great story, but it's just that: a story. More precisely it's an urban legend, one of those stories that is repeated so often that people come to believe it. Like many other legends, it has enough truth (some Spaniards indeed do speak with something resembling a lisp, at least to those who accustomed to the pronunciation of Latin American Spanish) to be believed, provided one doesn't examine the story too closely. I am fascinated by all of above text and I think you are too so not this year but may be next year go for some European language for all of above reasons, of course.
